MAY I PRAY FOR YOU? 🙏🏽
This started as a song…but it’s becoming a lifestyle for me.
During my SEEK GOD 40 journey, I’ve been intentionally asking people one simple question:
“May I pray for you?”
And whew…the encounters so far! 🙌🏽
On our road trip to Florida, we stopped at Popeyes, and what started as an ordinary food stop turned into a prayer circle with the employees! Right there in the restaurant, we gathered together and prayed. 🙏🏽
In Florida, I had the opportunity to minister to and pray over two young sisters, ages 7 & 9, and their grandmother as they prepared for the new school year.
Then today, I offered prayer to a young man outside the studio. Afterward, I realized his father was someone I had been holding hurt toward because of something that happened years ago. God used that moment to show me that while I was offering prayer to someone else, He was working on my heart too. I knew I needed to forgive and release his father completely.
I walked upstairs to the studio, and my engineer began sharing his heart about his son and the years of separation their family had experienced. Before I stepped into the booth, we prayed together.
Then I walked into that booth and recorded…
“May I Pray for You?”

After the studio, I stopped to pick up a birthday cake and felt led to ask the cashier:
“Do you need prayer?”
He immediately said, “Absolutely, yes.”
So I prayed for him right there. He was so grateful! I encouraged him to worship and told him about WHO IS GOD?! He looked it up immediately and said he couldn’t wait to hear it.
And there have been MORE encounters along the way.
Now I understand even more why this message matters.
“May I Pray for You?” isn’t just a song or merch. It’s an invitation.
An invitation to notice people.
To stop.
To love.
To forgive.
To encourage.
And to PRAY.
