Welcome to Seek God 40.
This isn't just another challenge. It isn't about perfection, religion, or checking boxes. It's an invitation to intentionally step away from the noise of everyday life and spend forty days pursuing the One who created you.
Throughout Scripture, God often used forty-day seasons to prepare people for something greater. Moses spent forty days on Mount Sinai. Elijah traveled forty days to meet God. Jesus fasted and prayed for forty days before beginning His public ministry. These weren't seasons of punishment—they were seasons of preparation, transformation, and deeper intimacy with God.
Seek God 40 follows that same pattern.
For the next forty days, you'll intentionally create space to hear God's voice, study His Word, worship, pray, serve others, and allow Him to shape your heart. You'll practice spiritual disciplines while also growing in practical areas like stewardship, discipline, family, generosity, and personal responsibility.
Whether you've walked with Jesus for decades or you're just beginning your faith journey, these forty days are an opportunity to slow down and remember what matters most.
Our prayer is not that you'll simply finish a challenge.
Our prayer is that you'll encounter God.
That your love for Jesus will deepen.
That your purpose will become clearer.
That old habits will be replaced with new ones.
That your faith will grow stronger.
And that when these forty days are complete, you'll leave different than you began.
 
What to Expect
During Seek God 40, you'll be encouraged to:
Spend intentional time with God every day.
Read and reflect on Scripture.
Worship consistently.
Journal what God is teaching you.
Practice discipline and faithful stewardship.
Serve others through simple acts of love and kindness.
Eliminate distractions that compete for your attention.
Build healthy spiritual and practical habits that continue long after Day 40.
Remember, this journey isn't about earning God's love.
You already have His love through Jesus Christ.
This journey is about positioning your heart to know Him more deeply.

A Prayer Before You Begin
Father,
Thank You for inviting me into a deeper relationship with You. As I begin these forty days, I surrender my plans, my distractions, my fears, and my expectations to You.
Create in me a heart that longs for Your presence more than anything else. Teach me through Your Word. Speak clearly through Your Holy Spirit. Help me become more like Jesus in the way I think, speak, serve, forgive, and love.
Give me the discipline to remain faithful, even when I don't feel motivated. Strengthen my faith. Heal what's broken. Reveal my purpose. Remove anything that keeps me from fully following You.
May these forty days mark the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of Your presence.
